What in the world does Brazilican mean?

Hello, my name is Cris and I consider myself Brazilican... Hummm, what? In case you're wondering, let me explain...
The word Brazilican comes from Latin (j/k)... Actually, Brazilican is a nickname my American husband invented to describe my nationality... no, I am not American, I am BraziliAN, but since I moved to the USA to marry my handsome American hubby, he insists I am not Brazilian anymore, but Brazilican, a mix between Brazilian and American... I tease him that yes, I am American since I was born in the continent called AMERICA but, as you can imagine, that is an endless silly funny argument LOL, so I took on my given nickname to name the blog. I also have another one named The Brazilican crafter, but have not worked on it for a long time, and since I have new ideas for this one... There you have it, Brazilican lessons :) .
So, what are these ideas? Well, in order to answer that I need to tell you a little bit more about myself. I am a Christian and a teacher, and have been teaching English for foreigners for over 15 years now. And now I'm pregnant and two weeks away from my first child, so I thought how about sharing the lessons learned in a foreign country from a teacher's perspective? And about the lessons learned at my own country that have made it possible to bear homesickness? And about the lessons to be learned with parenthood? And, last but not least at all, how about lessons throughout my Christian walk?
As you can see, the teacher's perspective has everything to do with learning... In this case, my own and hopefully yours, if you are willing to embark in this blogging adventure with me...
I hope that you enjoy my company, I will certainly enjoy yours!!!
